1. Using the service and eligibility

AdaptLearn provides guided learning paths, AI tutoring, assessments, progress tracking, communities, and team administration tools. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to use it lawfully, responsibly, and only for legitimate learning, collaboration, or administrative purposes.

You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and keep your organization, learner, and billing details reasonably up to date.

Communities are not directed to children under 13. If you are below the age at which you may independently agree to these Terms in your country, you may use AdaptLearn only with the authorization and supervision required by applicable law. You must not use Communities where a required parent, guardian, school, or institutional authorization has not been obtained.

2. Accounts, roles, and access

Access levels are role-based. Learner features, admin tools, and team controls are granted according to the permissions associated with your account. You must not attempt to bypass subscription limits, role restrictions, or technical protections.

You are responsible for actions taken through your account until you report unauthorized use or the session is terminated.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval unless renewal is cancelled. Paid features and immediate plan changes are activated only after payment is verified. If checkout is cancelled, fails, expires, or cannot be verified, access remains on the last confirmed plan.

An upgrade, including a change from monthly to annual billing, may take effect immediately after verified payment. AdaptLearn may apply the unused value of the current paid period as a prorated credit against the upgrade charge. That credit is a billing adjustment, not a cash refund, and cannot exceed the price of the replacement purchase.

A downgrade, including a move from annual to monthly billing, takes effect after the current paid period ends. It does not automatically refund the current period. Because the payment provider may require a separate authorization for the replacement recurring payment, you may need to complete a new checkout when the downgrade becomes effective. Until then, your existing paid access continues and its automatic renewal is stopped.

Only one base subscription and one unresolved base-plan change may exist for an account at a time. AdaptLearn may reject an attempt to repurchase the same active plan and billing interval or to begin another plan change while one is pending, scheduled, or requires support review.

Checkout identifies the billing currency, amount due, configured taxes where applicable, and recurring interval. A converted or locally displayed amount may be provided for reference, but the provider charges in the plan’s stated billing currency. Bank fees and exchange-rate differences are controlled by the relevant payment institutions.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. When that happens, card payment details are typically entered into and handled by the provider directly under its own payment controls and terms, while AdaptLearn receives the transaction and subscription information needed to manage billing, support, fraud prevention, and audit records.

Team and institution accounts are responsible for selecting seat counts, managing invitations, and ensuring payment coverage for active seats. Subscriptions may be limited, downgraded, or ended if billing obligations are not met.

4. Communities and user content

Communities are text-based spaces where members may post messages, replies, quotations, and reactions. Community names, descriptions, topics, rules, visibility, and member counts may appear in the community directory, including for private communities. Messages and membership lists are available only to authorized members, but you should not use a community as confidential or permanent storage.

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You grant AdaptLearn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, format, moderate, and remove that content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and enforce the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited copies or records retained for security, legal, dispute, or backup purposes.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights and lawful authority needed to share it. Other members may respond to, quote, or react to content while it remains available. AdaptLearn does not endorse, verify, or guarantee advice, claims, files, or other material posted by community members.

5. Community administration and lifecycle

Community owners, admins, and moderators may establish local rules, approve members, restrict posting, remove messages, change roles, remove or ban members, and manage invitations. They must exercise those powers lawfully and fairly. Local rules cannot override these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, or platform enforcement, and community moderators do not act as AdaptLearn employees or agents.

An eligible active subscription is required to create a community, subject to the ownership limit of the selected plan. A community may continue operating after its creator’s subscription ends. If an owner leaves or closes their account, ownership may pass to an eligible active member; if no member remains, the community may be archived.

An owner may schedule a community for deletion. Members receive notice and the community ordinarily remains available during a 72-hour grace period, during which the owner may cancel deletion. When the grace period expires, the community and its associated memberships, messages, reactions, invitations, and join requests are permanently removed, subject to limited records that AdaptLearn must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

6. Acceptable use, reporting, and moderation

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines. You may report a community or another member’s message and may block other users. Reports may be reviewed by authorized AdaptLearn personnel and may result in content removal, posting restrictions, warnings, removal from a community, account suspension, community suspension, or referral to authorities where legally required.

AdaptLearn may preserve relevant content and account records while investigating abuse, protecting users, resolving disputes, or complying with law. We do not guarantee a particular outcome or response time for every report. To request reconsideration of a platform enforcement decision, contact [email protected] with enough information to identify the decision.

7. AI-generated content

AdaptLearn uses AI to generate explanations, lessons, assessments, and tutoring guidance. While we work to improve quality, AI-generated content may be incomplete or imperfect. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs, especially for professional, regulated, or high-stakes use.

8. Intellectual property

AdaptLearn, its interface, branding, platform logic, and original materials remain the property of AdaptLearn or its licensors. Users retain rights in content they submit, but grant AdaptLearn the rights needed to operate, secure, improve, and deliver the service.

If you believe content on AdaptLearn infringes your intellectual-property rights, email [email protected] with identification of the protected work, the affected content or community, your contact information, and a good-faith explanation of the claimed infringement. AdaptLearn may remove content and restrict repeat infringers where appropriate.

9. Service changes and termination

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform where reasonably necessary for product evolution, security, legal compliance, or service quality. We may also suspend access for misuse, fraud, non-payment, or legal risk.

10. Liability and local law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AdaptLearn is provided on an as-available basis. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the consumer, privacy, or digital service laws that apply in your jurisdiction.
